Our geriatric medicine fellowship was established in 1986. Family physicians and internists can apply. The fellow rotates in the hospital, office, home, long-term care, and rehabilitation sites under the supervision of UConn geriatrics faculty. Our academic environment gives exposure to all aspects of research that affect older adults. An academic leadership skills course helps prepare for future careers. A second year of training is available to further develop their career path.
