University of Alabama Hospital (Birmingham) Program
About This Program
We are the only tertiary care provider and only vascular specific training program for the entire state of Alabama providing a complex case mix unrivaled in state institutions. UAB is one of a select few centers in the country currently able to offer custom branched and fenestrated procedures to patients with conditions involving the arch and thoracoabdominal aorta. We continue to graduate trainees with case volumes in open carotid, aortic and peripheral vascular surgery above national averages.
