- Residents will participate in a forward-thinking curriculum with general surgery months integrated even into the senior years-- The program will allow for individualization with time for resident-organized electives such as QI, ultrasound, business of medicine, surgical education, etc.-- The primary clinical site is a safety-net hospital rich in opportunities for community involvement and learning to work with the special needs of a resource-poor patient population
