The University of Virginia's Nuclear Medicine division is a SNMMI-designated Radiopharmaceutical therapy center for excellence. Fellows in the Nuclear Radiology program provide state of the art care while developing competence interpreting both static and dynamic nuclear imaging (planar, SPECT, SPECT-CT, and PET-CT); utilizing, handling and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals; supervising and preforming radionucleotide image guided procedures and teaching medical students and residents.
