Overview

The 12-month nuclear radiology fellowship program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview is an ACGME accredited program and provides additional training to diagnostic radiology residents. Nuclear radiology evaluates and treats a wide spectrum of disease processes throughout the body using selective radionuclides/ radiopharmaceuticals. The fellowship program teaches the use of diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclides/radiopharmaceuticals to detect and treat disease.
