Overview

The Interventional Radiology section of the UAB Department of Radiology is dedicated to providing world class education and experience. We currently train 4 Independent IR residents, 1-2 ESIR residents and 2 Integrated IR residents (per PGY-level) per year. We have a high-volume practice and state of the art equipment. Our practice incorporates the entire spectrum of adult and pediatric Interventional Radiology. Our attending physicians are dedicated to clinical care, teaching, and research.
