University of Puerto Rico Program
About This Program
offers a uniquely enriching experience grounded in cultural, linguistic, and community-based practice. Trainees are immersed in a bilingual (Spanish-English) environment, developing the skills needed to provide culturally responsive care to Spanish-speaking populations. The program serves a highly diverse and often underserved patient population, including children and adolescents facing poverty, community violence, family separation, and the long-term effects of natural disasters.
