Los Angeles County-Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Program
About This Program
Population served: Patients at Harbor-UCLA represent underserved populations. Patients at UCLA (inpatient and elective experiences) represent higher SES and often insured populations. Thus, fellows get experience with broad range of patients. Didactics at Harbor-UCLA utilized active learning strategies including Team Based Learning rather than lectures. There is a strong emphasis on our program as a Community of Learners and Teachers where we all learn and teach.
