University at Buffalo Program
About This Program
Our program has strong training in Emergency Psychiatry with a dedicated psychiatric emergency room staffed with psychiatrists 24/7. We have comprehensive psychotherapy training which begins in the PGY-1 year. Additionally, the medical educator track (MET) and the research track help residents develop skills in those areas of interest. Mentorship and a specially designed curriculum allow residents to enhance their knowledge and expertise.
