About This Program

We serve the entire state of Alabama with both common and rare pediatric rheumatic disorders in our care. We have 8 faculty and 5 nurse practitioners (plus 5 nurses, 4 office staff, social worker, and research coordinator) so fellows do not have busy work. We are research based with expertise in JIA, lupus, spondyloarthropathy, TMJ arthritis, transition care, reproductive health, and MAS. We partner with our outstanding UAB adult rheumatology division for research, training, and education.
