New York Blood Center Program
About This Program
NYBC's Transfusion Medicine Fellowship Program has trained more than 100 specialists in transfusion medicine. Aims include: (1) preparing the fellow for American Board of Pathology sub-specialty certification in blood banking/ transfusion medicine; (2) Empowering the learner to provide evidenced-based, clinically effective services and (3) expose the fellow to research opportunities in Transfusion medicine. Fellows spend the year both at NYBC and at two of four partner hospitals.
