University of Louisville School of Medicine Program
About This Program
Our healthcare system includes eleven hospitals and clinics, offering a diverse transfusion medicine experience. The primary training site, University Hospital, is a downtown Level I trauma center with community and clinic access. Nearby sites include Norton and Norton Children's Hospitals, Jewish Hospital (organ transplant and HLA lab), and the local Red Cross. This proximity provides broad, direct exposure across academic, pediatric, and community transfusion settings.
