Overview

As the only Level I Trauma Center in Alabama, the program offers residents exposure to a diverse patient population. Chiefs graduate with over 3,000 cases. Training opportunities include a 3-month dedicated research rotation, a temporal bone lab, & certification in transoral robotic surgery & Inspire device implantation. Residents receive financial assistance to present at & attend courses, purchase loupes, and maintain licenses. Memberships & subscriptions to educational resources are provided.
