University of New Mexico School of Medicine Program
About This Program
New Mexico is a minority majority state which gives our learners a diverse setting to practice Geriatric Medicine. We also offer a unique experience to practice Geriatric Medicine in a rural clinic for Elder Native American care at Zuni Pueblo. This elective allows our fellows to get experience with rural care as well as knowledge in providing age friendly care to a unique patient population. This rotation provides on-site housing. -
