Our program is uniquely situated to take advantage of the MANY opportunities of joint sponsorship by the VA Maryland Health Care System (including our GRECC) AND the University of Maryland, each of which offer unique opportunities across the spectrum of Geriatric Medicine. Fellows are exposed to primary care, consultive care (including unique interdisciplinary clinics) as well as acute, subacute and long-term care (ALL in a number of settings), in a rich research and teaching mileu..
