Residents train in three university-affiliated medical centers including a large private academic medical center, a VA Hospital, and a county hospital that cares for the underserved. We provide an environment that will enable internal medicine residents to acquire the medical knowledge, clinical & procedural skills, and professionalism necessary to practice independently as an internist in a variety of practice settings, and have opportunities and a solid foundation for subspecialty training.
