About This Program
50 years of experience: Academic rigor in a supportive, innovative, and collaborative environment. Training sites include a tertiary care level-1 trauma center, a VA hospital, and our county hospital. Faculty consists of incredible general internists and subspecialists, involved in one-on-one teaching and mentoring. Residents develop broad-ranging skills to successfully prepare for any practice - 1/3 of residents enter fellowship, 1/3 hospital medicine, and 1/3 primary care practice.
