University of Hawaii Program
About This Program
Residents are exposed to common medical conditions and unique diseases endemic to our islands in a team-oriented multiethnic and multicultural environment. Our primary training site is Queen's Medical Center, a referral center for other hospitals throughout the state and the Pacific basin. Our residents can do away electives on neighbor islands and the U.S. mainland. We offer a Clinician Educator Pathway, Primary Care Pathway, research electives, and strong POCUS and procedural skills training.
