Mountain Area Health Education Center (Boone) Program
About This Program
Our program is specifically designed to train full-scope family doctors to serve in rural and underserved settings like the one here in the beautiful mountains of Boone, NC. Our curriculum includes training in MAT, wilderness medicine, LGBTQ care, POCUS and procedures. Our close-knit residents and faculty believe in the importance of personal and professional well-being during residency and beyond.

Salary paid by a non-profit institution.
Vacation & Sick Days
