Overview
The mission of the UChicago Laboratory Genetics & Genomics 2-year fellowship program is to train PhD trainees to become future Laboratory Directors and/or expert consultants to support the growing field of Clinical Genetics & Genomics in academic and non-academic settings. We focus on the performance and interpretation of molecular genetics and cytogenetic analyses relevant to the diagnosis and management of human genetic disorders.Fellows are eligible to sit for the ABMGG board upon completion.
