About This Program
West Virginia University Transitional Year Residency Program provides a strong foundation in basic clinical skills while allowing the resident flexibility to pursue advanced specialty interests. Our expanding program currently trains 14 residents and has an ACGME Continued Accreditation Status. - The majority of the TY residency training occurs in Morgantown at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital. The University and its community provides year round cultural events and sporting activities.
