Overview

The West Virginia University Transitional Year Residency Program provides a strong foundation in basic clinical skills while allowing the flexibility to pursue your advanced specialty interests. Our program currently trains 13 residents and has an ACGME Continued Accreditation Status. The majority of the TY residency training occurs in Morgantown at the clinical campus of the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center and WVU Medicine's flagship hospital J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
