Applicants interested in the U of Maryland EM/IM/CC track must apply to the UMD EMIM program. Residents of the EMIM program choosing to stay for the Critical Care track are transitioned at the end of their PGY-4 year. UMMC houses 9 specialty ICUs through which our EMIMCCs can rotate, in addition to dedicated experiences in Interventional Pulmonology, ECMO management, community ICUs, and research, with access to world-class lectures both from UMD and other faculty via marylandccproject.org.
