About This Program

Residents work with faculty in both the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Genetics. An optional fifth year as a genetics chief resident focused on research is available. Beginning in year 2, residents spend half of the year in genetics rotations and half in pediatrics rotations, typically switching at the 6 month mark between departments. Our institution also offer fellowship training in metabolic genetics and dysmorphology.
