There is an option for extra training in infant/early childhood psychiatry through the Tulane Institute of Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (https://medicine.tulane.edu/infant-institute) and ped and psych fellowships. There are opportunities to have specialized training in assertive community tx, community psych, school, maltreatment, early childhood, and electives in juvenile justice, autism, gender and sexuality, early psychosis, eating disorders, perinatal/partum consultation, etc.
