About This Program
Located in the capital and largest city in Mississippi, the University of Mississippi Medical Center is the only academic medical center in the state and the state's only children's hospital. The UMMC Med/Peds Program offers robust clinical training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics to a patient population with significant health care needs. Hospital and ambulatory training are equally emphasized, and residents are well integrated into both the Department of Medicine and the Department
