About This Program
The UAMS COM Med-Peds residency is a moderate-sized program based in an academic setting. We have tertiary care and 'bread and butter' medicine and pediatrics in our 3 hospitals, all located in the center of Little Rock. We have a strong Med-Peds community and a culture of mentorship. Many of our graduates choose careers in primary care, though some do go on to fellowships. The resident outpatient practice is located at our own university-affiliated Med-Peds clinic in West Little Rock.
