Houston Methodist Hospital (Medical Center) Program
About This Program
The practice environment is a Neurological unit, the admission and coverage model is semi-closed, and the patient population that is cared for are: hemorrhagic strokes, ischemic strokes, status epilepticus, brain tumors, traumatic brain injury, SAHs, and complex post neurosurgical patients. Methodist is a comprehensive stroke center. In addition to the NICU, fellows will be required to rotate in the MICU, and CVICU/SLICU. All of the ICUs are located at Houston Methodist Hospital.
