The UVA Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship offers rigorous, personalized training in a supportive one-fellow-per-year program. Fellows care for high-acuity patients across UVA Medical Center, the Emily Couric Cancer Center, Hospice of the Piedmont, and long-term care settings, with exposure to oncology, transplant, LVAD/ECMO, advanced organ failure, and complex symptom management.
