Fellows will enter the practice of palliative medicine providing compassionate evidence-based interdisciplinary palliative care medicine to the full spectrum of patients with serious illnesses. Fellows will be ready to lead a palliative care consult service, function as a hospice medical director, support care in a dedicated hospice or palliative care inpatient unit, provide administrative leadership and support to a palliative care program, effectively liaison, and teach as necessary.
