University of New Mexico School of Medicine Program
About This Program
UNM offers the only palliative medicine fellowship at New Mexico's sole academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center. Fellows train in a trauma-informed, whole-person care model that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering. With a focus on underserved and Native populations, our program provides rich clinical experiences in a diverse, rural state, preparing fellows to deliver compassionate, equitable care.
