University of Chicago Program

Our program aims to build the workforce of subspecialty trained HPM physicians capable of providing outstanding patient care, teaching, role-modeling and contributions to the field. We aim to develop well-rounded physicians who will provide compassionate and culturally sensitive patient & family-centered care, that alleviates physical and non-physical suffering and assists in goal-oriented decision making, as well as expose fellows to opportunities in research, scholarship and leadership skills.
