The University of Maryland Medical Center's Cardiothoracic Surgical Residency is designed to train you on the latest technical advances in the field. - At 6-8 years in length, program residents are given ample time in the operating room, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our surgeons as you refine different surgical techniques. Within our program, residents have many options for specialties or research opportunities within their chosen field. -
