About This Program
Three-year training in Adult Cardiac, Adult Thoracic, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, Heart Transplantation, Lung Transplantation. Settings include quaternary-care academic medical centers and community-based/managed care. Traditional as well as minimally invasive techniques emphasized. Fellows participate in clinical or translational research with an expectation to present. The Bay Area also offers rich opportunities to collaborate on resident-driven surgical and oncologic innovations.
