About This Program
Parkland Hospital is a nationally recognized Level 1 trauma center, including a specialized burn unit, offering exceptional breadth and depth in Surgical Critical Care not widely available elsewhere. Fellows gain experience managing high-acuity, complex patients and develop advanced critical care skills. In addition, fellows rotate at UT Southwestern's Clements University Hospital, which enhances training through exposure to specialized areas such as transplant and cardiovascular intensive care
