About This Program
Our surgical critical care fellowship is embedded within a 2-year AAST-approved Acute Care Surgery Fellowship. Fellows have broad clinical exposure to high acuity trauma (adult and pediatric) and burn care at University Medical Center. Professional development includes creation of of guidelines, leading clinical research projects and participating in multi-center trials. Fellows are heavily involved in medical student and resident education as well as community outreach.
