University of Minnesota Program
About This Program
Fellows in the University of Minnesota Surgical Critical Care program will work with a diverse patient population across several clinical sites. They will learn to safely and effectively care for complex general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, abdominal/thoracic transplant, and trauma patients, and will cannulate and manage patients on VV ECMO. The clinical exposure is complemented by a robust didactic and simulation curriculum including QI, POCUS, and advanced ventilator skills.
