The University of Chicago provides care for our Southside community. We offer a diverse experience including a high proportion of patients with penetrating injury. Electives are available in the following ICU's: Surgical, Neuro, Cardiac, Burn, Pediatric, CT Surgical, Medical, and Neonatal). There is also an opportunity to create your own elective for an ICU/trauma experience. Additional benefits include support for travel to a national trauma meeting and a book stipend.
