Overview

The ICU is a completely integrated, multi-disciplinary unit that includes medical, surgical, and trauma patients. This gives the fellow an extremely wide breadth of exposure to illness. The attending core is also multidisciplinary from Surgery, Anesthesia, EM, and medicine thereby giving the ICU fellow great depth in the fundamentals of each specialty and their approach to critical illness.
