Ours is a fully ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program under the direction of Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. There are 32 dedicated faculty surgeons who actively participate in the Program and provide unmatched clinical and academic resources. Entering our 66th year, our intern class is comprised of 4 Categorical and 3 Prelims. Our class size results in on average more than 1,000 cases by graduation, significantly more than the number required by the ABS.
