University of Tennessee Program
About This Program
The UTHSC program continues a strong tradition of training surgeons within a broad scope of general surgery. We lead the way in trauma care at the Presley Regional Trauma Center. Our nationally recognized transplant program performs liver, kidney, and pancreatic transplants. Our freestanding regional referral center at LeBonheur Children's Hospital gives residents exposure to areas of pediatric surgical care. We are excited about our surgical oncology department growth and our cancer center.
