University of Cincinnati surgery residency recruits extraordinary students to train in broad-based general surgery and complex subspecialty surgical care. We offer a global surgery elective in Malawi to interested residents, an unparalleled experience. Our residents have an outstanding track record of securing competitive fellowships, achieving leadership roles in academic surgery and in the community. 2 years of research/professional development between clinical years 2 and 3 is typical.
