About This Program
At South Shore University Hospital the surgery residency program aims to serve the a diverse community through the delivery of safe and comprehensive care and the creation, integration, and dissemination of new knowledge into surgical practice. The academic program promotes excellence in surgical knowledge, research and operative skills through a robust didactic and skills curriculum . Through a university and community practice surgeons residents experience a wide breadth of general surgery.
