About This Program
The General Surgery residents rotate through five teaching hospitals: Broward Health Medical Center (Level 1 Trauma Ctr), Broward Health North (Level 2 Trauma Ctr), Broward Health Imperial Point, Broward Health Coral Springs and Cleveland Clinic, which together perform over 40,000 surgical cases annually. The high patient volume, diverse population and state-of-the-art facilities provide a comprehensive surgical experience from the first day of residency.
