Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Program
About This Program
The IR residency at Wake Forest trains well-rounded physicians with comprehensive clinical, procedural, and radiological education, emphasizing continuity of care through longitudinal clinics. Residents begin with a surgical internship in the same system, spanning a Level I trauma center, a comprehensive cancer center, and a children's hospital. Rotations at free-standing, outpatient IR labs are offered. We serve a large regional area, drawing diverse patients from urban and rural communities.
