The mission of the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship is to train competent physicians in the provision of compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to all adult patients experiencing psychiatric symptoms due to medical illness or in conjunction with medical illness. This mission will include an emphasis on the ability to liaise effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, colleagues in other specialties, and community resources in and around a large, complex health system.
