Prisma Health/University of South Carolina SOM Columbia (Columbia) Program
About This Program
South Carolina offers a Geriatric Physician Loan Forgiveness Program to encourage physicians specializing in geriatrics or geriatric psychiatry to practice in the state. Eligible applicants can receive up to $35,000 in educational debt repayment in exchange for a 5-year service commitment. Our program offers supervised training in sleep medicine, administrative psychiatry, hospice, & dedicated research time. Also, protected time to attend Am. Assoc. of Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP) annual meeting.
