About This Program
The UR Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship graduates are trained to honor aging older adults with dignity and respect and to care for patients with compassion and skill. Geriatric Forensic Psychiatry training is an option as a 2nd year. Fellows experience multidisciplinary teamwork in unique clinical settings including the Memory Care Program, Capacity Clinic, GUIDE Program, Project ECHO GeMH and Geriatric Telepsychiatry for SNFs. Didactics are combined with the UR Geriatric Medicine Fellowship.
