Overview

Evaluation of male and female prisoners, juvenile delinquents and sex offenders is part of the correctional rotation. Forensic psychiatric hospital rotation includes competence to stand trial and insanity evaluations, and testimony. Private practice work is an explicit robust rotation. Didactic curriculum is shared with New York City forensic psychiatry programs. Scholarly project is required. Must have passed USMLE/COMLEX Part 3 to enter program.
