University of Mississippi Medical Center Program
About This Program
Our training program for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is in the city of Jackson, MS. We are the state's only academic medical center and as such is a magnet for health care in MS. This creates a rich, unique training experience getting to work with a rural, diverse population. Our didactics include an emphasis on core CAP topics, CAP psychotherapy, and the social determinants of mental health. We seek to train child and adolescent psychiatrists that are empathetic and evidenced based for MS.
